Shirley Brown Obituary Shirley A. Brown, of Pottstown, PA, passed away at home during hospice care on October 21, 2021, just a few weeks before her 67th birthday. Her friends and family take comfort in knowing she is now with her loving Savior. Shirley was the beloved wife of William R. Brown for 20 years. She was predeceased by her father, Lee Dobson, and son, Jason McCoy, both whom she dearly loved. In addition to her husband, she is survived by many family members and friends. Shirley was a hard-worker and was committed to excellence in her career. She was respected for these qualities during her 34 years at Polymeric Systems in Elverson, PA. Shirley was a dedicated and generous friend, mother, and grandmother, but was also known for her kindness to strangers and those in need. She was very thankful for her family members and friends who cared for her in her final days. A Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Hope Community Church on North Charlotte Street in Gilbertsville, PA. Calling hours will begin at 10:30. A private luncheon will follow the services.
