Robert Jones Obituary Robert C. Jones passed away in his home on June 18, 2021, at the age of 91. Bob was born on June 12, 1930 in Pocahontas, Iowa. He is survived by his 9 nephews and nieces: Pat Jones, Mike Jones, Dan Jones, Catherine Jones, Tom Jones II, Randall Jones, Andrea Platt, Jeffrey Jones, and Scot Jones. Bob was preceded in death by his father Cecil Jones, mother Jane Jones, his aunt Emma Wallace, his brother John Jones, and his brother Tom Jones. He grew up in Storm Lake, Iowa with his 2 brothers, his mother, and his aunt on Seneca St. He went into the army making the rank of Sargent. Bob went on to St. Thomas University where he graduated with a master degree in biology. He then moved to Pennsylvania where he had a career as a biologist with a large company as a researcher. He retired in Norristown Pennsylvania where he went to Mass daily at St. Helena church and engaged in charity work. Bobs was surrounded by loving neighbors and friends. He will be missed by many.
