William John Kline (“Jack”) passed away on Nov. 16 at the age of 86. Jack graduated from high school in Hazleton, PA, then served in the US Navy. After his discharge, he went to Penn State. He graduated with a Business degree and a lifelong passion for Nittany Lions football. His career in life-insurance underwriting began at INA, where he met his beloved wife of 57 years, Louise (née Napoli). Jack later moved to National Liberty, now Aegon, where he ultimately rose to become the Vice President of Life Underwriting. At home, Jack could usually be found with a book in his hand. He loved to read. However, he didn’t like to sit at home. He enjoyed travel and taking day trips with his wife. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Bernadine. He is survived by his wife Louise; son Darren and his wife Bernadette; daughter Renee (Dean) and her husband Jim; and granddaughters Brenna and Alexa Kline. A funeral service will be held at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, Delaware County, PA 19064 on Friday, November 23. Visitation: 9:30 to 11 AM at the church followed by mass. Burial at SS Peter and Paul cemetery in Springfield.
