Michael F. Coyle of Plymouth Meeting passed away on May 31, 2018 at Einstein Montgomery Hospital. He was 69 years old. Born in Philadelphia on October 10,1948 and was the son of the late William J. and Florence G. (Dougherty) Coyle. Michael worked for over 40 years in the automotive industry, beginning his career as a mechanic and later the position of service writer. He had a passion for cars and attended car shows whenever time permitted. He enjoyed camping,traveling, and long road trips. In his younger years he was an avid roller skater, active in the Boy Scouts, and a volunteer fire fighter. Michael was always quick to offer help to family, friends, and anyone at all, needing some assistance. It would be nothing for him to stop and “lend a hand” to a stranger that had a car broken down on the side of the road. Michael is survived by his wife of 20 years; Catherine Mary (DiMento) Coyle, his 3 children; Francis “Frank” (the late Denise) Coyle, Robin Coyle, and Holly Coyle Gallante, his 3 step children; Jason (Jennifer) Hammitt, Justin Hammitt, and David Hammitt. Also survived by his 12 grandchildren; Ashley, Kayla, Simon,Charlotte, Kaiselyn, Margaret, Kyle, Nathanial, Caedmon, Angela, Jude, and Joey. Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service on Saturday June 23rd at 1:00 P.M. at Norristown Monthly Meeting 20 Jacoby Street Norristown, PA 19401.
