Mary G (Giambrone) Tuturice

Mary G. (Giambrone) Tuturice of Norristown passed away on August 10,2019 at Norriton Square Nursing and Rehab. Center in Norristown. She was 91 years old. Born in Norristown on May 26, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Catagnus) Giambrone.

Mary was a generous soul and sacrificed to give to others. Mary’s generosity extended beyond her family to the many organizations that she supported. Nothing gave Mary more pleasure than to spend time with her family. Little children gave her the greatest joy. Her 5 grandsons will always remember her “Grammy Kisses” and the special time that she spent alone with each of them. 

Mary worked at Acme Supermarket as a cashier for 14 years in both Collegeville and Jeffersonville. Some customers liked her so much that they would wait just so they could go through her line. 

She loved the Lord and read and studied scripture and lived her faith daily. Jesus carried her through the struggles in life and now she is resting in his arms.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years; Salvatore Tuturice. She is survived by her daughter; Karen T. ( Dean) Shaner, her son; Kenneth F. Tuturice, her sister; Anna Jane Interrante, her brother; Joseph Giambrone Jr., her 5 grandsons; Nathan (Rachel) Shaner, Michael Tuturice, Jared (Lisle) Shaner, Matthew Tuturice, Salvatore Tuturice, and her 3 great grandchildren; Jayden, Jaelyn, and Madison.

Relatives and friends invited to her visitation on Saturday August 17th from 11 AM - 12 Noon followed by Funeral Service at 12 Noon at the Raffeo- DiCecco Memorial Home 19 East Germantown Pike ( next to Shoprite Supermarket), East Norriton. Entombment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cem. In lieu of flowers donations in Mary’s memory may be made to help the Norriton Square Building Fund with checks payable to Karen Shaner 19 East Germantown Pike Norristown, PA 19401
