Gladys M Babbitt

Gladys M. Babbitt of Norristown passed away on July 5,2018 at her residence. She was 80 years old. Born in Boston, MA on May 27, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Mattie (Wellman) Babbitt. Gladys worked for many years as an assembly worker for Positran Manufacturing Inc.. She enjoyed her shopping adventures in the city and traveling on public transportation to see the sites. She loved spending time with her family and can be remembered for her kindness to everyone and her pleasant smile. Along with her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her son; Alan P. Babbitt Sr. of Spring City. She is survived by her sons; Bernard Babbitt of Norristown, and David (Denise) Babbitt of Norristown, her daughter-in-law; Ann Marie Babbitt of Spring City,and her sister; Dorothy Babbitt. Also survived by her grandchildren; Stephanie and Amanda Bell, Julia Phillips, Alan Babbitt Jr., and Kyle Babbitt and her great grandchildren; Gavin and Olive. Also survived by a niece and nephew. Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
